Ingenuity and Integration for Better Outcomes
“Please join us October 18-20, 2016 for the Hale Borealis Forum. This year’s theme, Ingenuity and Integration for Better Outcomes, will provide significant cross-disciplinary opportunities, evidence-based practice methods, current trends, and important information on the latest innovations in medicine across the entire three day event.
The forum is designed to bring together public health, pre-hospital, healthcare facilities, trauma designated hospitals, emergency managers, fire, law enforcement, Alaska Respond volunteer health professionals, and other non-governmental and governmental organizations that have equities in emergency preparedness and response. As we all have a role in the continuum of care for patients in Alaska, we have the opportunity to forge new in-roads together to increase life expectancy and reduce response time to a disaster.”
This year’s conference is at the Anchorage Hilton Hotel. With three weekdays to choose from, we are offering a robust schedule for all attendees.”

The Section of Emergency Programs strives to ensure that the public’s health and medical needs are met during disasters and emergencies. Through a unified effort with the health care community and other essential partners, we prepare and respond to health emergencies statewide, whenever and wherever they may occur. Whether deploying critical assets, providing health emergency management personnel, collecting and analyzing trauma data, certifying emergency responders, training medical personnel or exercising with communities, all of our efforts are in service to our vision: a healthy north, Hale Borealis.
